Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Edström, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Rönnöfors FF got a corner. Team Figo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per Stenberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nejat Karasu in the 22nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ali Nejat Karasu sped through Rönnöfors FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kent Boklund in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Edström in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Sigvard Biörnberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Quirze Acha however easily saved by the left post. Quirze Acha was a little too slow when Henry Fagerberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 44th match minute, Team Figo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Bivall to maneuver through the defense. Team Figo's Quirze Acha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Team Figo from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Fagerberg was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Team Figo's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Quirze Acha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Henry Fagerberg put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Quirze Acha. In the 58th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quirze Acha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Edström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quirze Acha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 70th minute of play. Quirze Acha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Tunström went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Fagerberg in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quirze Acha saved Team Figo from getting behind. Sigvard Biörnberg hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 92nd minute of play forced Team Figo's goalkeeper Quirze Acha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Henry Fagerberg put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Quirze Acha. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rönnöfors FF had won after a very even match.
