Magne Gunnarsson made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Clóvis Cabral sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Per Stenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronnie Hellström was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Per Stenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rönnöfors FF's Arne Stor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kennet Mårtensson, made in the 46th minute of the game. Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Stenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Gnaget United FC's Carl Kling was substituted for Clóvis Cabral. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bogdan Utretskiy was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Kling came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rönnöfors FF! 1-0 came in the 65th minute when Carl Jonsson all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Utretskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magne Gunnarsson was relentless in the 87th minute of the game.
