The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when klide13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Plantin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Saverio Brion reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Youri Maguet. The goal made the score 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Saverio Brion made the kick off in the second half. Karim Decottignies might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atahan Balon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karim Decottignies ran back to his position shaking his head. When klide13's Karim Decottignies in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Atahan Balon came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by klide13's Karim Decottignies. But to his dismay, Karim Decottignies quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When Karim Decottignies came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the klide13 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Decottignies couldn't finish the play.
