The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Szalone Konie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Szostak didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Tâbârnă scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teofil Lanczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Szalone Konie's Teofil Lanczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Martinaș in the 15th minute of play. Teofil Lanczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Martinaș in the 17th minute of the match. Cristinel Tiberian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pankracy Tepper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zygmunt Szostak scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristinel Tiberian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristinel Tiberian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Tepper in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Szostak came free, but Cristinel Tiberian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Chițu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Teofil Lanczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofil Lanczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Martinaș in the 41st minute of play. Wit Dubilas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, David Tâbârnă lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Teofil Lanczak. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wit Dubilas to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Wit Dubilas took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Cristinel Tiberian to make any attempt to save it. Cristinel Tiberian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Szostak, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 79th minute Pankracy Tepper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Tiberian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octav Martinaș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes of play, Szalone Konie's Costică Mandache made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristinel Tiberian was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC PIETROSUL -MM- were furious when Bogdan Ştercă was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 93rd match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Ştercă to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Öztürk Varan got free with Cristinel Tiberian in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Szalone Konie's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
