Wojtek Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Kjellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Calistrat Bucuță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.BARLAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moose Knuckles the free kick. After 26 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Bucuță. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Kjellqvist in the 29th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aloyzas Valys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Beninda in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Moose Knuckles got a corner. F.C.BARLAD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sonic Ball ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Moose Knuckles's Sonic Ball to fire away a dangerous shot which Wojtek Szczęsny despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Li Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Moose Knuckles's Vecdet Baştürk was substituted for Jedrzej Beninda. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nichifor Codruț made a kick off. In the 88th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Surdu to maneuver through the defense. Li Lin came out of the goal and Florin Aalexoaiei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Moose Knuckles fans cheered their team off the field, for while F.C.BARLAD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
