An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Lech in the 9th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Matai made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Nichifor Codruț sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wojtek Szczęsny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Lech in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Lech came free, but Wojtek Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Matai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Batistuta in the 24th minute of play. Braulio Castel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Roman Matai made a huge save. Nichifor Codruț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Roman Matai made a huge save. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 31st minute of play. Michel Batistuta took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wojtek Szczęsny. Wojtek Szczęsny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wojtek Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Batistuta in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute Mikolaj Lech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojtek Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Mikolaj Lech sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Wojtek Szczęsny showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Sandu Brădescu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandu Brădescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sandu Brădescu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Wojtek Szczęsny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Batistuta in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wojtek Szczęsny saved F.C.BARLAD from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Codruț came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Bendyk in the 67th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to STAL ST WOLA's Gustaw Bendyk getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Damian Hodas made in the 88th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zygmunt Bielejewski. Wojtek Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Bielejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a little luck, F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny got control of the ball when Mikolaj Lech tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichifor Codruț in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Matai prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
