Vasco Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zayvion Ispuzua, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Vasco Goycochea came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua. But to his dismay, Zayvion Ispuzua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 22 minutes into the game, Viorel Oniga threw the ball into play from the sideline. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Oliverios Gayangos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Barcelona de América's Hu Sen Jing quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adriano Toscano, made in the 24th minute of the game. Adrianinho Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute Nikolay Dudevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barcelona de América's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ronaldo Cosme was slow to take the kick. During this time ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's players had a chance to rest. Oliverios Gayangos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zayvion Ispuzua in the 33rd minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilmar Quadros made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Adrianinho Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. Gilmar Quadros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrianinho Meirelles in the 38th minute. The supporters of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ booed when Barcelona de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Oniga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona de América from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Barcelona de América's Caetano Levandowsky was substituted for Zayvion Ispuzua. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caetano Levandowsky made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Meirelles in the 54th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Gilmar Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adrianinho Meirelles fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Oliverios Gayangos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilmar Quadros. Barcelona de América's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vasco Goycochea made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Caetano Levandowsky sent off a good shot on target. The Barcelona de América players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
