PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zayvion Ispuzua in the 5th minute of play. Bradford Scalzo struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Isaac Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona de América. Gilmar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when Barcelona de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perlaza Lena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilmar Quadros was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Turgut Soyuer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Turgut Soyuer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Turgut Soyuer might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Quadros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Turgut Soyuer ran back to his position shaking his head. Turgut Soyuer took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilmar Quadros. Gilmar Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Turgut Soyuer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Gilmar Quadros made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona de América's zone, Turgut Soyuer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilmar Quadros came out of the goal and Turgut Soyuer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PREZULO FC's Ronny Åman was substituted for Rob Lute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caetano Levandowsky was the one to do the kick off. Isaac Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Levandowsky, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Barcelona de América's Viorel Oniga got a free kick in the 61st minute. Barcelona de América were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after PREZULO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Perlaza Lena took the corner. After taking down the ball on Barcelona de América's corner Perlaza Lena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isaac Ferreira quite easily take care of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Isaac Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Levandowsky. Turgut Soyuer scored 3-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilmar Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. PREZULO FC's Betão de Brito was substituted for Ronny Åman. Barcelona de América's Robin Puttemans was substituted for Thomas Ravousis. Caetano Levandowsky might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caetano Levandowsky ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the game, Samuel Jobo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barcelona de América's Félix Torres quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Caetano Levandowsky's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Ferreira was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Gilmar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mari Balotelli in the 85th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, PREZULO FC's Saulão Chettle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilmar Quadros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PREZULO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barcelona de América had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
