Cobresal's Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Cobresal from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Manta took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Leopoldo Manta might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Manta ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Cobresal's Dino Scapini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 龙适卫 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to La Git! getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Baybars Berkman hit a great ball. 龙适卫 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaitano Valdovinos in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wieslaw Kolano was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Pirinchev made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dino Scapini immediately put the ball in play. In the 62nd minute Wieslaw Kolano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Git!'s 龙适卫 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save La Git! from getting a goal against them. In the 90th match minute, Cobresal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Monasterio to maneuver through the defense. Enginsu Oğuztan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wieslaw Kolano in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea saved Cobresal from getting behind. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Wieslaw Kolano sped through Cobresal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea. Cobresal's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because La Git! had won, even though Cobresal had held more of the ball.
