Vasco Goycochea came out of the goal and Zayvion Ispuzua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zayvion Ispuzua might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasco Goycochea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zayvion Ispuzua ran back to his position shaking his head. Muhittin Emek made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andriy Kaká immediately put the ball in play. After 16 minutes of play, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adrianinho Meirelles made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilmar Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilmar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliverios Gayangos in the 28th minute of play. Gilmar Quadros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mai Bin Kuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilmar Quadros having to make a save. With a little luck, Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros got control of the ball when Mai Bin Kuan tried to sneak it across the goal line.
