In the 12th minute, Saulão Chettle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Despidida AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shi Xi Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time PREZULO FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Shi Xi Zhen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse did a great save. Rob Lute fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Selatse having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Selatse was left in no man's land by his defense there! Michael Corleone kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turgut Soyuer in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cain Velasquez.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Raymond to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Turgut Soyuer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Ancho Branca replaced Dinu Ivănescu. Robert Percha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robert Percha might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Percha ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaac Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Percha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Despidida AFC's goalie prevented a goal. PREZULO FC's Betão de Brito was substituted for Ronny Åman. In the 96th minute, Ferreirinha dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over PREZULO FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Despidida AFC throughout the match.
