Faas Wilkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Fetor having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Teixeira in the 28th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Andreas Lindqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Martin Mutumba hit a great ball. Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mutumba came free, but Damian Fetor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. Damian Fetor came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Vykans Vikingar's Faas Wilkes. But to his dismay, Faas Wilkes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 42nd minute, João Carlos Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Haglund came free, but Damian Fetor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Faas Wilkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt Bouchard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damian Fetor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Andreas Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard in the 55th minute of play. FÊNIX F.C.'s Gilberto Leite was substituted for Tiago Gabriel Damião. After 62 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Simon Brolin. Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Teixeira in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Arne Haglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Fetor was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Abdi Revis replaced Martin Mutumba. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by FÊNIX F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jose Indalecio was slow to take the kick. During this time Vykans Vikingar's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Fetor saved FÊNIX F.C. from getting behind. Leonardo Trancoso came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Damian Fetor could save by the left post. In the 88thth minute of the game Bengt-Arne Haglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Fetor didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-5 in the ordered_time% minute. If Leonardo Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 97 minutes into the game, Leonardo Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Damian Fetor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vykans Vikingar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
