Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Tudor Buga charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tudor Buga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Buga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Cornea in the 17th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Aritza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Anibal Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Tudor Buga suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. FC Truseni made a substitution. Sandu Perju replaced Tudor Buga. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teodor Cornea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Cornea in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Aritza having to interfere. Dorel Cretu had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dorel Cretu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Cornea in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexei Jereghi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorel Cretu to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Dorin Dobã got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The FC Truseni fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when FC Truseni's Dorel Cretu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anibal Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Truseni's Eugen Tabãrã was substituted for Radu Briceag. In the 86th minute of the match FC Truseni got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. George Pãduret ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 89th minute Teodor Cornea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Pãduret's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. FC Truseni walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
