Lukasz Jarosiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Korba Team's Mikolaj Kopacz got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Korba Team's Lukasz Jarosiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of play. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miroslaw Lewicki in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. During the 20th minute of the match Jose Correa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jose Correa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Miroslaw Lewicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korba Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslaw Lewicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomasz Chica might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomasz Chica ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslaw Lewicki in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 26th minute Korba Team were awarded a corner. Aron Bergqvist went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Korba Team's corner Aron Bergqvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 28th minute. Miroslaw Lewicki struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korba Team. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Tomasz Chica tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rafal Ramzinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Costa was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslaw Lewicki in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Szczepan Sidorowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Korba Team's Aron Bergqvist got a free kick in the 65th minute. 69 minutes in the game, Miroslaw Lewicki dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Korba Team made a substitution. Arkadiusz Marczyniec replaced Tomasz Chica. Rafal Ramzinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Korba Team's Herbert Maziarski was substituted for Rich Sugden. Rafal Ramzinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Rafal Ramzinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Stefan Bartoszek struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korba Team. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Marczyniec in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Korba Team players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
