After 10 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Edward Mcdonald. Long Gang Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, FC Fura Balizas's Olívio Ribas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Fabrício Lopes let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 25th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 29th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Fura Balizas's Olívio Ribas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Gang Sen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of the match. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Olívio Ribas sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Lopes in the 55th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Long Gang Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
