After a rather tough play, Dark Drinkers Sanok's Vali Erbașu got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Benet Amorebieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benet Amorebieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Benet Amorebieta came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dark Drinkers Sanok were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nando Campidelis took the corner. After taking down the ball on Dark Drinkers Sanok's corner Nando Campidelis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 27th minute, Benet Amorebieta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 34th minute Benet Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Józef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Benet Amorebieta made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 45th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Wandzik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Drinkers Sanok the free kick. After 52 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benet Amorebieta in the 53rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dark Drinkers Sanok's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Dark Drinkers Sanok's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Józef Wandzik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 78 minutes, Matteo Suloaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Drinkers Sanok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matteo Suloaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Józef Wandzik made a huge save. Macos Graciani made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dark Drinkers Sanok's Vali Erbașu. Luca Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Józef Wandzik came out and tried to block the shot, but Luca Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 89th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dark Drinkers Sanok.
