Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Etienne Van Achteren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Frans was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Etienne Van Achteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Etienne Van Achteren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Etienne Van Achteren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After 14 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Wils FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wils FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 24th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match Wils FC got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edwin Koppen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Etienne Van Achteren struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wils FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 44th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After 53 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edwin Koppen who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etienne Van Achteren in the 55th minute of the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Illescas could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Andreas Frans however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Etienne Van Achteren in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Etienne Van Achteren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 70 minutes of play, Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Etienne Van Achteren kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Wils FC's goalkeeper Andreas Frans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After 86 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Wils FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. A collision led to Wils FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Harald De Messemaeckre hit a great ball. Etienne Van Achteren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Wils FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wils FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
