The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Flavio Bardella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Bardella didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Namık Hinoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Namık Hinoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felix Luque had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Dante Lacasa, was totally fooled by ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s Karem Eagles, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Binali Akgöl in the 22nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Namık Hinoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ege Tanyol got free with Dante Lacasa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 31st minute of play forced ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s goalkeeper Namık Hinoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Namık Hinoğlu. ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersan Adalı in the 42nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ersan Adalı came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lautaro Mancebo made a kick off. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersan Adalı, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ege Tanyol in the 55th minute of play. Namık Hinoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Namık Hinoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s Binali Akgöl. But to his dismay, Binali Akgöl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersan Adalı in the 78th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Namık Hinoğlu made a huge save. Ersan Adalı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s goalkeeper Namık Hinoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After a rather tough play, ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s Ege Tanyol got a free kick in the 90th minute. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
