The audience thought a goal was coming when Kang Lin Yi got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as 武挺西 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 18th minute of play forced 温州瓯海宸悦联队's goalkeeper 陆悦适 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Seyit Türk threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After 48 minutes of play, 温州瓯海宸悦联队's Kang Lin Yi made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 方岚皓, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
