Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pepe Bomba started the match with the kick off. Antonio Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eurico lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustín Saelices the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 6th minute. Eurico lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barto Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Beatriz 08's Barto Sánchez. But to his dismay, Barto Sánchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eurico lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Rui Eanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Beatriz 08's Eurico lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. Eurico lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 27th minute of the match. Eurico lago came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 40th minute, Pepe Bomba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Beatriz 08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Eurico lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Eurico lago managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eurico lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Beatriz 08 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rui Eanes hit a great ball. Eurico lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Eurico lago however easily saved by the left post. Eurico lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Beatriz 08 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
