Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zé Telo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Zé Telo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. A well-hit corner resulted in Niall May heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Valerio in the 10th minute of play. Fausto Di Giambattista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Di Giambattista having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Di Giambattista was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Zé Telo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Di Giambattista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Ferruccio Valerio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 59th minute. Zé Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Gaztea Mendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DESTROYER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Gaztea Mendez hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A collision led to DESTROYER getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gaztea Mendez hit a great ball. Fausto Di Giambattista was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 81st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, DESTROYER's goalkeeper Fausto Di Giambattista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 93rd minute of the game, Zé Telo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Camilo Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 92 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
