In the 2nd minute, • REGINA •'s Csaba Markovits dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Lehoi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Laureano Primeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Jeremias Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Primeiro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dobromir Szarmach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play forced • REGINA •'s goalkeeper Dobromir Szarmach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobromir Szarmach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Dobromir Szarmach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 35 minutes, Csaba Markovits mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the • REGINA • and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to • REGINA • getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Csaba Markovits hit a great ball. Dobromir Szarmach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. Baldomero Emenon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Lehoi. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, • REGINA •'s Albino Sol got a free kick in the 56th minute. Dobromir Szarmach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dobromir Szarmach. That made the score 2-2 after 58 minutes of play. Dobromir Szarmach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. • REGINA •'s Baldomero Emenon got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dobromir Szarmach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Szarmach having to interfere. • REGINA • made a substitution. Al Bundy replaced Baldomero Emenon. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Dobromir Szarmach in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, • REGINA •'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dobromir Szarmach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Kanczuszewski in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, • REGINA •'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Dobromir Szarmach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Verdonckt charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Verdonckt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to • REGINA • getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jonas Verdonckt hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Lehoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. • REGINA • succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
