Henry Kristiansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth McKinnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play forced Catholic Church's goalkeeper Henrik Ingemarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 57th minute, Catholic Church's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 62ndth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henrik Ingemarsson had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Daniel Zorita from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Henrik Ingemarsson however easily saved by the left post. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Cristian Sancho a yellow card for diving instead. Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Catholic Church from getting a goal against them. Kenneth McKinnell charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenneth McKinnell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Catholic Church getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Kenneth McKinnell hit a great ball. Catholic Church's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristian Sancho 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. 84 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Henrik Ingemarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Catholic Church defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrik Ingemarsson. The Catholic Church fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrik Ingemarsson should have stopped the shot. Henrik Ingemarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Catholic Church was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Henrik Ingemarsson in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Catholic Church getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Oskar Bergqvist hit a great ball. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Ecuador played a much better game than Catholic Church and deserved their victory. The Catholic Church players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
