The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 11th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Chan Cho sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Chan Cho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Guillermo Ramos hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Textex breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Chan Cho sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Luis Castillo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Chan Cho could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Jonathan De Gracia ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Herrera in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Venezuela's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Venezuela may have spent more time on the ball, but Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
