Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Who Ate All Depay's Bernard Kolano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Wen Bo Yang came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Wen Bo Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Falco Pruischer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Who Ate All Depay's Falco Pruischer managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falco Pruischer having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernard Kolano got free with Julio Vera in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. In the 14th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falco Pruischer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falco Pruischer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Kolano in the 35th minute. A collision led to Who Ate All Depay getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leonides Licerio hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bernard Kolano sent off a good shot on target. Who Ate All Depay's Wen Bo Yang got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Who Ate All Depay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Volponi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes, Camilo Gisbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Who Ate All Depay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Who Ate All Depay booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Tor-Egil Gjertsen in the 48th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Falco Pruischer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falco Pruischer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to Who Ate All Depay getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. I-Made You hit a great ball. Wen Bo Yang might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wen Bo Yang ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wen Bo Yang in the 74th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Who Ate All Depay made a substitution. Yorrick Kiewiet replaced Pieter Koole. In the 80th minute, one of Who Ate All Depay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Who Ate All Depay. Falco Pruischer had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 81st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. With a little luck, Who Ate All Depay's Falco Pruischer got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Falco Pruischer. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 90th minute of play forced Who Ate All Depay's goalkeeper Falco Pruischer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Who Ate All Depay's Falco Pruischer got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Who Ate All Depay's goalkeeper Falco Pruischer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The audience was convinced that Roel Ravenbergen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Wen Bo Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The Who Ate All Depay fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
