In the 18th match minute, Club Deportivo O IRIXO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Pastor to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Gil in the 23rd minute of the match. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrei Gil made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Canal. In the 54th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 55th minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Gil might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrei Gil ran back to his position shaking his head. Fermín Trujillo made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Claudio Aznar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Gil in the 72nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milagros Cabal during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Recio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lautaro Navarro. Claudio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 84th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudio Aznar. That made the score 0-3 after 92 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Deportivo O IRIXO.
