Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Amador Rivas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 5 minutes, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Espinar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 8th minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Leonardo Romani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez in the 10th minute of play. Antero Vadillos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Club Deportivo O IRIXO fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Antero Vadillos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Romani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo O IRIXO defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Romani. The Club Deportivo O IRIXO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Romani should have stopped the shot. Leonardo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 2-2 in the 38 minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Josu Pabon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Josu Pabon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Leonardo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A sloppy throw-in by Renaldo Gonzalvez in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Antero Vadillos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iosu Toledo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Alexander Costa struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Leonardo Romani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Amador Rivas made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Iosu Toledo however managed to control. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Canal hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josu Pabon kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Leonardo Romani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. In the 81st minute of the match Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antero Vadillos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 84th minute. Leonardo Romani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alexander Costa hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Honduras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
