Sven-Erik Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magnus Löfdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Magnus Löfdahl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magnus Löfdahl saved Electric Sharks from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aan Aae got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Aan Aae tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magnus Löfdahl was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 33 minutes into the game, Electric Sharks's Aan Aae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magnus Löfdahl was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Petersson made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Magnus Löfdahl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 57 played minutes Electric Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Berglund. In the 59th minute Fred Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Petersson in the 65th minute of the match. If Bertil Melander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Sven-Erik Berglund sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move. In the 69th minute, Sven-Erik Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Bertil Melander notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Guillermo Mariano suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Melander during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Venezuela made a substitution. Guillermo Espina replaced Guillermo Mariano. Bertil Melander kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Löfdahl having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Fred Petersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 88th minute, Frank Gustafsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 95th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Electric Sharks fully deserved thier win.
