Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fred Petersson got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Fred Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Electric Sharks's Aan Aae fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Magnus Löfdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Magnus Löfdahl in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Electric Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Magnus Löfdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Electric Sharks's zone, Felix Montes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Löfdahl came out of the goal and Felix Montes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Magnus Löfdahl. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aan Aae in the 58th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Petersson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Mellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Magnus Löfdahl. Magnus Löfdahl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Electric Sharks made a substitution. Frank Gustafsson replaced Aan Aae. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Magnus Löfdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Mellberg in the 78th minute of play. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magnus Löfdahl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Magnus Löfdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Electric Sharks's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Löfdahl came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Electric Sharks booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Electric Sharks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edmund Bergfelt thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Magnus Löfdahl, a very annoying self made goal in the 94th minute which led to 1-3. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
