Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ralph Roeles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Bergfeldt in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Roeles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Karel Kimman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Roeles having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Jan de Vliegers short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Karel Kimman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 38th minute. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 54th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 57th minute of the match. Ralph Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jan de Vlieger came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ralph Roeles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Caiola came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Zebastian Bergfeldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. After 74 minutes of play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Bengt Petersson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Karel Kimman with Jakov Cvjetković as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Jan de Vlieger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Jan de Vlieger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Zebastian Bergfeldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan de Vlieger in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jakov Cvjetković made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bengt Petersson. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Bergfeldt in the 94th minute of the match. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
