Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Bengt Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan de Vlieger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After having played for 17 minutes, Bengt Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Caiola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Ralph Roeles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jan de Vlieger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan de Vlieger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan de Vlieger to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Bengt Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Bengt Petersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ralph Roeles made a huge save. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralph Roeles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were awarded a corner. Emiliano Caiola went to the cornerflag to take it. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 81st minute of the match. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Valentin Szegh got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Bengt Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
