Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikolaus Worm to make the kick off. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Addi Kremer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Arne Rentsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VfL Bad Nenndorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 70th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Addi Kremer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Addi Kremer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Addi Kremer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Addi Kremer made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Addi Kremer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than VfL Bad Nenndorf and deserved their victory. The VfL Bad Nenndorf players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
