An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 4th minute of play forced G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Steve De Wyngaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Irod in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, G-TN rest-ART's Christer Blom got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to G-TN rest-ART getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Roger Velasco hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Kenny Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve De Wyngaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Steve De Wyngaert made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to G-TN rest-ART getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kenny Norberg hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Grigore Irod shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Irod in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Ziemowit Majorski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of play forced G-TN rest-ART's goalkeeper Steve De Wyngaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, G-TN rest-ART's Steve De Wyngaert got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Steve De Wyngaert successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Steve De Wyngaert made a huge save. Valdemar Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to G-TN rest-ART getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Valdemar Oliveira hit a great ball. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. G-TN rest-ART were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
