Zebastian Albom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 13th match minute, N38 Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiph Ennegren to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 16 in the game by Tom Sundström from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. If Herman Klementsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play forced N38 Fotboll's goalkeeper Zebastian Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tom Sundström. Tom Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Zebastian Albom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Tom Sundström scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Tom Sundström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-1 in the 37 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Sundström. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Tom Sundström took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 77th minute N38 Fotboll were awarded a corner. Tom Sundström went to the cornerflag to take it. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Tom Sundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Venezuela booed when N38 Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Gameiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind N38 Fotboll's goalkeeper Zebastian Albom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Konrad Ivarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to N38 Fotboll getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Knut Lundgren hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. N38 Fotboll had played much better football throughout.
