Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ingvar Vallin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Vallin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Ingvar Vallin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Barros in the 9th minute of play. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Peter Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Ingvar Vallin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hub Yap Para kap fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Vallin in the 51st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Hub Yap Para kap got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquin Ledesma ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hub Yap Para kap's Ingvar Vallin to a score. 3-1 in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asdrubal Jubera kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita shot from long distance in the 65th minute, but Peter Schmeichel was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Peter Schmeichel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Schmeichel. That made the score 3-2 after 70 minutes of play. Peter Schmeichel was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. With his leg Peter Schmeichel managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hub Yap Para kap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Ledesma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Vallin's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ingvar Vallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Vallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
