Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan-Olof Bergman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roland Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Wik came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kåge BF's Andreas King slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Roland Backman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play forced Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hjalmar Spetz was slow to take the kick. During this time Kåge BF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Kåge BF's Hjalmar Spetz to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Olof Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play. Roland Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. If Leonardo Leoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Backman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes Kåge BF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Roland Backman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Roland Backman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 48th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Kåge BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roland Backman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roland Backman. That made the score 1-2 after 52 minutes of play. After 55 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas King in the 57th minute of play. Roland Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roland Backman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Backman having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. Joel Gaona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luca Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Roland Backman made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Kåge BF's Roland Backman. Roland Backman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Roland Backman made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Kåge BF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Roland Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona scored 1-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland Backman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mexico booed when Kåge BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Wik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
