After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolga Zengin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Rüştü Akkaynak sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when ADANAGÜCÜ FK's Rüştü Akkaynak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Münir Taif could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Rüştü Akkaynaks short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Münir Taif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Münir Taif in the 26th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüştü Akkaynak in the 27th minute of play. 沈德林 kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Yetkin Kavaş kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tolga Zengin having to make a save. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tolga Zengin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. ADANAGÜCÜ FK's Tolga Zengin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save ADANAGÜCÜ FK from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Venezuela eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
