In the 3rd minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Amicone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tracy Narcisse who took care of the corner kick. Tracy Narcisse made a great header on Toronto Marlies FC's corner, it was just that Canada's Jax Williamson managed to reach the ball for a save. Anfilogino Amicone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 11th minute of play. Anfilogino Amicone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Amicone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Amicone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toronto Marlies FC's Tracy Narcisse managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Richard Mccarthy in the 41 minute of the game. The Toronto Marlies FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canada were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gigel Bucur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Koby Wright came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koby Wright couldn't finish the play. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. The supporters of Canada booed when Toronto Marlies FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fatsali Bedirhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rohan Watson came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anfilogino Amicone could save by the left post. Richard Mccarthy made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eric Hill. 66 minutes into the match, Luka Harris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anfilogino Amicone. Toronto Marlies FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luka Harris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Toronto Marlies FC's Josiah Ferland was substituted for Daniel Passarelli. Toronto Marlies FC's Noel Hamlin was substituted for Fatsali Bedirhan. Gigel Bucur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jax Williamson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Filip Edwards's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anfilogino Amicone was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Dixon in the 75th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Toronto Marlies FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Burton came free, but Anfilogino Amicone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Bucur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toronto Marlies FC's Anfilogino Amicone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Edwards in the 85th minute of play. Anfilogino Amicone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Edwards in the 88th minute of play. Prince Anderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Anfilogino Amicone made a huge save. The Toronto Marlies FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Canada were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
