Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Walter Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Walter Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Wigalf Lilleike had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wigalf Lilleike was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Walter Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Snubbinhoz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wigalf Lilleike didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Nyman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the game, Stefan Lundgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Walter Nyman quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Nyman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 42nd minute of play forced Snubbinhoz FC's goalkeeper Walter Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Nyman saved Snubbinhoz FC from getting behind.

The wind increased when Wigalf Lilleike made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Snubbinhoz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. Roque Javiar charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Javiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Snubbinhoz FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Roque Javiar hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Göran Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Snubbinhoz FC the free kick. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! In the 69th minute, Östen Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Snubbinhoz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Jonasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Nyman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 94th match minute, Snubbinhoz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wigalf Lilleike to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Nyman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wigalf Lilleike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Snubbinhoz FC.
