Manel Sans made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. 18 minutes into the match, Nueva Adalucia's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Larpe Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Alcaraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Larpe Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play. Larpe Cabrera came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Samuel Navarro got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larpe Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Larpe Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Larpe Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sol Rajoi got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Luis Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Larpe Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 41st minute of the match. Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 43rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Kevin Mastache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Larpe Cabrera. Nueva Adalucia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Mastache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvito Helguera to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Nueva Adalucia got a freekick which was hit by Santxo Moya. A sloppy throw-in by Cordarin Velazquez in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Orlando Tafalla. In the 60th minute, Mané Alcaraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 66th minute, Mané Alcaraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Adalucia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Alcaraz in the 74th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mané Alcaraz scored 6-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manel Sans hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Santxo Moya with Mané Alcaraz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Mastache in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Larpe Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mastache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Larpe Cabrera. Nueva Adalucia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Mastache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-3. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
