The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Semeghin got free with Julio Vera in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rosendo Seguinus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Eduard Semeghin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of Rosendo Seguinus. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Sângeorzan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Semeghin in the 44th minute of play. A hard shot 46 in the game by Remus Vermeşan from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Semeghin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Vermeşan in the 51st minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Sângeorzan in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Seguinus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Rosendo Seguinus in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Victor Huștiu got a free kick in the 68th minute. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Semeghin in the 90th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Rosendo Seguinus threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
