David Mitu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 28th minute of play. If Olimpiu Bărbuceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes in the game Toader Apostol did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cezar Prunaru. Iacob Stoicescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 41st minute of play forced Arabesque -MM-'s goalkeeper David Mitu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Mitu having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezar Prunaru couldn't finish the play. In the 67thth minute of the game Iacob Stoicescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Arabesque -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Cristocea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes, Emanuel Moise mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arabesque -MM- and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iacob Stoicescu went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Mitu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Iacob Stoicescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. David Mitu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
