Karl-Michael Ljungberg hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Lite Finare Lite Bättre got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Göransson. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraklis Rapanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Edward Mcdonald pulled a muscle in his back after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Loncki during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Loncki kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Iraklis Rapanos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 40th minute of play forced Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalkeeper Peter Belkå to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Lite Finare Lite Bättre made a substitution. Manuel Sá replaced Orlando da Costa. Peter Belkå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute Cao Xing Si shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
