Vänge IF's attentive Lilo Stich managed to snatch the ball when Kevin Mastache made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Colombia's Santino Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Abram Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Hernando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vänge IF's Östen Olsson got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Ciriaco Hernando managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Colombia's Abram Secada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abram Secada had several of the Vänge IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Ciriaco Hernando as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Colombia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
