Canada were awarded a corner in the 3th minute after Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Koby Wright took the corner. In the 5th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koby Wright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Abad having to interfere. Peter Blomkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jax Williamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luka Harris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Joel Enekoitz got a free kick in the 14th minute. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rohan Watson in the 16th minute of play. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Harris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pompiliu Isăcescu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Koby Wright in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Koby Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Abad was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rohan Watson in the 32nd minute of the match. Carter George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Abad having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Blomkvist came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luka Harris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koby Wright to make the kick off. The supporters of Canada booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kosmas Banasopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canada made a substitution. Theo Burton replaced Rohan Watson. Richard Mccarthy made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carter George. 66 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Salles came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canada made a substitution. Prince Anderson replaced Carter George. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s William Lebigot was substituted for Joel Enekoitz. Many of Canada's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Canada may have spent more time on the ball, but Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
