Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Pechal in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, USA's Cassius Byrne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Claris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Edward Mcdonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Claris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Pechal in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Claris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Super Penalitop's Stanislav Tishinov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jacob May, made in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 37th minute of play forced Super Penalitop's goalkeeper Carlos Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The throw-in from Jenson Smith in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Super Penalitop's Tomas Abaurre. 59 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Naim Cheche came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naim Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Claris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Cassius Byrne's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Claris firmly grabbed it by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Pechal came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Carlos Claris successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Super Penalitop made a substitution. Zlatan Belkå replaced Hernan Cresenciano. Super Penalitop's Jacob Dantas was substituted for Naim Cheche. It was a well-played corner which Jacob May managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Super Penalitop's Facundo Robak got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Jacob Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Super Penalitop throughout the match.
