The audience was convinced that Bryan Chai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 潘庭桑 having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Chai, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 潘庭桑 narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Bryan Chai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to 徐瑜耀. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryan Chai went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 潘庭桑 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 郭希平 in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryan Chai in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 【天下】☆长空☆黄河之水天上来 had won after a very even match.
