Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fryderyk Jajecznica started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fryderyk Jajecznica in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Iwan Ostrowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Fryderyk Jajecznica sent off a good shot on target. Procopio Trespalacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Spartans Lodz's Herbert Gozdowski got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Procopio Trespalacios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Procopio Trespalacios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Spartans Lodz's Fryderyk Jajecznica slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. Fryderyk Jajecznica struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartans Lodz. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 37 minutes, Fryderyk Jajecznica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans Lodz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fryderyk Jajecznica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fryderyk Jajecznica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st match minute, Spartans Lodz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Pryputnicki to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Jajecznica in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. If Fryderyk Jajecznica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The Spartans Lodz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Procopio Trespalacios made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Witold Pryputnicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spartans Lodz's Radowit Szel was substituted for Herbert Gozdowski. In the 68th match minute, Spartans Lodz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Pryputnicki to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Procopio Trespalacios could save by the left post. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Procopio Trespalacios firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 80th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Spartans Lodz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Radowit Szel's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radowit Szel helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Spartans Lodz got a freekick which was hit by Radowit Szel. Daniel Zorita had several of the Spartans Lodz's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Procopio Trespalacios as he didn't even see the shot coming. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Marchewka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
