Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Halcones Azules's Eliseo Conrao started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Gogo Weather got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gogo Weather hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Halcones Azules's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Aristides Paul charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Paul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Halcones Azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Paul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halcones Azules's Eliseo Conrao managed to work through Uruguay's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eliseo Conrao dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. Halcones Azules's Aristides Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Conrao in the 31st minute of the match. Mustafa Hamit Özercan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Conrao in the 41st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Halcones Azules's Joaquin Gayoso threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aristides Paul, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joaquin Gayoso had great luck who in the 46thth minute grab hold of the ball when Eliseo Conrao from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 47th minute Eliseo Conrao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Halcones Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Donostia to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Cazalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mustafa Hamit Özercan came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaime Cazalla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 52nd minute. Gogo Weather's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Weather helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Halcones Azules getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gogo Weather hit a great ball. Halcones Azules's Carlos Bilbo was substituted for Gogo Weather. The long shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 58th minute really tested Mustafa Hamit Özercan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Eliseo Conrao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Eliseo Conrao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Halcones Azules defense, Camilo Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Hamit Özercan. The Halcones Azules fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Hamit Özercan should have stopped the shot. Aristides Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Carballal hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Halcones Azules made a substitution. Esteban Vitin replaced Aristides Paul. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carlos Bilbo, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Jonatan Elixio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Enrique Beti made in the 88th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Carlos Bilbo. The supporters of Halcones Azules booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Beti was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Halcones Azules's Esteban Vitin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Esteban Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Uruguay had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
