Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zigmantas Gimbutas kicked off to start the match. Zigmantas Gimbutas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Pascual Carballar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Carballar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zigmantas Gimbutas's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Zigmantas Gimbutas sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Quintino Carvalhais fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Adán was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Braga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Antonio Adán was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Quintino Carvalhais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Quintino Carvalhais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Quintino Carvalhais put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares. In the 45th minute Quintino Carvalhais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zigmantas Gimbutas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 55th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Braga made a substitution. Stig-Åke Mattsson replaced Zigmantas Gimbutas. SC Braga's Geraldo Lucas was substituted for André Jordão. With a little luck, SC Braga's Antonio Adán got control of the ball when Santino Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stig-Åke Mattsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Axel Montenegro made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Santino Seco immediately put the ball in play. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute of the match. Stig-Åke Mattsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Jon-Egil Sætre made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. In the 75th play minute Abram Secada came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Antonio Adán. 2-2. Antonio Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Åke Mattsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 87th minute of the match. Stig-Åke Mattsson scored 3-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Antonio Adán in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Braga.
